Ensuring that Aboriginal perspectives inform responses to Aboriginal victims
The Department of Justice and Community Safety commissioned the Centre for Innovative Justice, in partnership with Djirra, Dardi Munwurro and Elizabeth Morgan House Aboriginal Women’s Service to conduct research into the needs and experiences of Aboriginal victims of crime.
The resulting consultation report, Ensuring that Aboriginal perspectives inform responses to Aboriginal victims of crime, was endorsed by Aboriginal Justice Caucus and is available on the Centre for Innovative Justice’s website.
The report will be a key input to a dedicated Aboriginal Victims of Crime Strategy, currently under development.
