Victims of violent crime and their family members in Victoria may be eligible to go on the victim's register if the offender has been sentenced.
Registered victims will be able to receive information about the offender's sentence, and when the offender is:
  • released into the community on parole,
  • released into the community following the end of their sentence,
  • placed on a supervision order or detention order
The offender will not know if you are on the register.
